Need for Faculty Development Programs

The integrated model used so successfully at UIS and at other institutions points to the need for rigorous, thorough faculty development programs. Here is a short listing of programs that I recommend:
  • Sloan-C Online Workshops - Sloan-C Certificate Program
  • UIS Community of Practice for E-Learning (COPE-L)
  • UIS Center for Online Learning, Research, and Service (COLRS)
  • New Century Learning Consortium (NCLC)
  • Illinois Online Network (ION)
